Moreover we do extra activities with all the students twice a week in the afternoons with visits to museums of different topics and various historic epocues, tourist sites, the old town, markets; we show videos, we cook typical food, we dance, play and discuss. We always conduct these activities with explanations by a teacher or guide with the purpose that the student will know more about Ecuadorian and South American culture and about the town.
Some weekends the academy could organize optional activities like hikes to the mountains or visits to villages and sites nearby.
